Jonathan D. Martin, MS, is an enthusiastic and dynamic professional with over 20 years of experience in nonprofit program development and management, presenting complex health messaging through traditional and new media. His areas of interest include health education, professional medical education, the arts in healthcare, nonprofit management, social media, and advocacy. Jonathan has a BA in communication and linguistics from the University of Colorado at Boulder and an MS in health education from Hofstra University
In his position at the American Liver Foundation, Jonathan produces integrated, branded, and cost-effective educational and public awareness programs that target a broad range of consumers including patients, medical professionals, and the public. Previously, Mr. Martin spent over 12 years as director of education and public awareness programs at the National Marfan Foundation, where he developed and similar resources about Marfan syndrome, a rare and complex multisystem genetic disorder.
